This only works when fighting some one with a sword.
This is quite cool and helped me at kvatch.
If you're not very good at fighting then simply make sure you're behind something like a pillar or a barrel.
Make sure that your enemy stays on the other side of the object between you by moving about to keep them there.
Then when they swing at you with the blade step back then forward and lunge at them with your weapon.
Repeat these movements until your enemy is dead.
Takes a bit of practice but it's worth a try.
